Has there ever been a more perfect pairing than Filet Mignon and Pinot Noir. But, not just any Pinot Noir. The Evening Land Occidental Vineyard Pinot Noir paired with a Filet Mignon served with Demi Glace sauce. For the money, filet Mignon is the best cut of meat.
Shut yo mouth you say! For real! Think about it. I just bought some Filet Mignon for us tonight that cost us $13 bucks. However, if you are quantity over quality than you could have spent the same amount for two huge sirloins or other cuts. But, who are you kidding? You really want a Filet!
Plus, if you are serving good wine - stop screwing around! Just serve the good meat, drink the good wine, and enjoy your time on this planet.

Wine Geeks Beware!
Stop being afraid! Stop saying that you like this or that wine or that you like Malbec because its popular or that you dislike Yellowtail because it's "played out". Wine is wine. Wine is one of those unique little pleasures in our life that goes unappreciated until you're too intoxicated to notice. Wine, if you investigate it, has so much complexity and history that it allows one to truly emerse yourself into an escapism place. So, wine geeks beware! You may be walking down a path that is difficult to deny.
